This weekend, as we mark 100 years since the end of "The War To End All Wars," we are reminded yet again of the utter stupidity and futility of war. Why can't humans put an end to war? One of the arguments atheists use to criticise people of faith is that religion is the main cause of wars. If it weren't for religion, they argue, the world would be a much more peaceful place.
